Bear Clifton
We welcome Bear Clifton as our new transitional pastor, In his 25-year career he has served churches from rural Minnesota to inner-city London. In 2016 he stepped down from a 20-year pastorate in Connecticut to move to Los Angeles for a yearlong writing sabbatical in Hollywood and to pursue new ministry paths. He now serves with the Church Health Team of Transformation Ministries.
 
Bear is married to his college sweetheart Janis. They have one child, Hannah, who lives in LA, and serves Jesus in Hollywood.

Laura Mitchell
Laura joined the staff at FBC in 2015 as Office Manager.  She is full of energy and eager to help meet the needs of anyone who comes through the office door. Her love for Jesus flows freely from her.  As the office manager she has many responsibilities.  She is also assistant to the Pastor.
 
Laura served as a nursery worker for 10 years prior to joining the staff. She became part of the FBC family in 2015. In addition to her work in the office, Laura serves as Nursery Coordinator and Youth Leader. She especially loves the babies and taking the youth to Christian camps and seeing them open their heart to Jesus.  Laura also works with Youth for Christ.
 
Laura is married to Nate and they have six children and one grandbaby. The children are very active in school and sports.
Laurian Jorgensen
Laurian has been part of the FBC family since 1990 and has served as Facilities Manager since 2005.  She served as assistant for 10 years prior. She wears many hats and does so much more than her title indicates. She is everywhere making sure that a room is set up for an event, supplies ordered, drinks ready, tables decorated, etc. She constantly works her magic.
 
She always has a smile and is willing to help with any activity or need that arises.  She shows her love for Jesus in the way she interacts with children and adults alike. She also serves as Sunday School Superintendent and Junior Church coordinator.
 
Laurian has been married to Rick since 1978 and they have four children and six grandchildren. Their children and grandchildren all live in Taft and are a very close loving family.  Rick and Laurian do not miss a sport or school activity the grandkids are involved in.
